Along with Natsumi and Kumi, Minami is one of Otome's friends.

Minami has gray eyes, and short brown hair that has apparently been styled into two points.
Personality[]
She is an upbeat girl who is completely devoted to Otome. She seems to be more passive than the others, going along with what they are doing rather than instigating.
Relationships[]
- Makoto Itou - In Cross Days' "Minami's Lover" ending, Minami takes advantage of the situation between Otome and Kotonoha to make Makoto her boyfriend.
Etymology[]
- Her name and birthday are derived from Keizo Obuchi, a Prime Minister of Japan.
Trivia[]
- She is the only friend of Otome whose name is written with kana rather than kanji.
- She shares a given name with her seiyuu, Minami Kuribayashi.
- Minami Kuribayashi also provided the vocals for Anata ga...Inai, Namida No Riyuu, and Umi kara hajimaru monogatari.
- Minami could possibly be bisexual. In Cross Days, Kumi mentions that Minami has a collection of "girl love" manga at her house, much to Minami's embarrassment.
